A confident person doesn’t tell you they’re confident. They show you.
The same is true of most traits - if you truly possess a trait there is no need to verbally tell someone that you have the trait, just simply demonstrate it and let it speak for itself. So if someone is telling you, “I’m confident”, then they’re probably not.
